Derbyshire Dance Artists’ Network is a forum which offers training, information, networking & support for professional dance practitioners living or working in Derbyshire.

- Quarterly workshop at Déda with a visiting Dance Artist.
- Monthly space where Derbyshire dance artists may deliver classes for one another.
- Dance residencies (in partnership with Déda)
- One to one meetings with DDAN co-ordinator for dance artists who may want to talk over plans and ideas.
- Monthly newsletters and digital mail out of opportunities of interest to the network.

About your Network Co-ordinator…
Born and bred in Derbyshire Alice Vale did all her early training in the county. Once finishing her Dance and Choreography degree in the South she made her base Derbyshire once more. During this time she has created and performed in her own professional company, Adaire to Dance, provided workshops for local schools and colleges, become Déda’s Resident Artist, led Déda's gifted and talented Youth Companies, assisted Derbyshire District Council in facilitating dance for elderly people at the Arc Leisure Centre, provided dance INSETS for Primary Teachers, as well as giving professional development talks for Creative Derbyshire.
As a part time lecturer at Lincoln University she has a keen interest in the development and upholding of the work of Dance Artists. Her mission as your Network Co-ordinator is to provide a strong connection between all Dance Network members, provide unique opportunities, and to create an efficient and established Network.
